My Lovely Backers,

First and foremost we want to say THANK YOU so much for the support of our first project.

Now for some good news. 

• Gamblers Warehouse have recieved the decks and are ready to start shipment on the 1st batch of cards. The first batch are to backers with the standard deck orders. You will recieve those decks in roughly 2 weeks or less.
• The 2nd batch are for the gilded and uncut sheets. Usually the gilding process takes up to 10-12 weeks but we persuade them with our charms to try and complete them in 8-10 weeks. So instead of the anticapted delievry of Febuary, we are estimating mid January. 

For the GREAT news:

We have been secertly working on our next project OCULUS and has just been approved by Kisckstarter for luanch. 

This is a PROTOTYPE deck launch and is very limited to 250 deck set. You, my lovey DebutV1 backers, are the first to know and are able to view the pre-launch page before the campain luanches.

USPCC -> Gamblers Warehouse!

 Good Morning and Happy Friday!

• We just recieved some suprising GREAT news from USPCC. Production of the cards are “COMPLETED” and is now in transit to Gamblers Warehouse! Sorry for the alarm/update earlier this week ☺️
• Gamblers Warehouse will then start fullfillment for the 1st batch of standard (non-gilded) decks for shipment.
• Simutaniously, a small portion of the DebutV1 Red will start the gilding process 🤩. Once completed, the remaining orders will be shipped to smily faces who opens them (let it be you, and not your dog).
• Before Gamblers Warehouse can start processing shiping, Backerkit (online survey) needs to ”lock down” the addresses and orders. If you would like to update your address and or add on any additional items (Christmas present, hint hint, wink wink 😉), this would be the time to do so. Once surveys are locked in, it would be diffifuct for us to update any information. Backerkit will lock in the survey in 48h. 
• Please reach out if you need me to resend you the Backerkit link. 
• As always, we will keep you posted on any updates.

Lovely backers, the finish line is in sight. I can not wait for you guys to recieve these deck of cards.

Update from USPCC

Good evening lovely backers,

• A few quick updates from USPCC:

1) Card sheets are finishing up at the slitter and embossing machine.

2) Custom foil seals are finally in 🥳 and ready to be applied to the tuck cases once cards are completed. 

• USPCC ask for us to check in with them again in 2-3 weeks. We will keep you posted of any major updates along the way.

In the meantime, I came across this video (link below) while researching on how to properly open a sealed deck of cards. Check these guys out, they are an expert in breaking the seal, and are also quiet hilarious.

 How to properly open and break in playing cards 

• To sum up, there is not much we can do at the moment but to hug our cats 🐈 while USPCC does thier thing.

Happy Sunday my Lovely Backers,

• An update from USPCC: 

USPCC is half way through production and awaiting the Custom Foil Seal to be completed and ship to USPCC for them to apply to the decks. This application of the seal is done machinically and applied to the top flap of the tuck case. Once completed, the decks will be shipped to Gamblers Warehouse for gilding and fulfillment. 

• A small hiccup but with some Creativity results in Ingenious Solution 😎:

Since Gamblers Warehouse is doing the gilding to the small amount of GILDED DECKS (which are still available on your BackerKit account for order), they would need to break the seal at the top flap where USPCC has mechanically placed them 😱. A creative solution that the DestinationQ1 team has come up with is to manually placed the seal (for the gilded decks) on the side of the tuck case, which would avoid breaking the seal for the gilding process 🥳. 

 Manually apply the seal to the side of the tuck case is an unusual procedure that USPCC does not normally do and would come with a fee. But since DestinationQ1 has promised backers that all the decks will have seals, we would gladly cover the fee. In return, we are crossing our fingers in hope that USPCC will not forget to set aside the seals to be manually applied to the side of the potiental gilded decks.
 

• This hiccup is a blissing in disguise and result in our favor: 

 1) Most people dislike breaking the seal to get to the deck. For one reason, it distorys the artwork of the seal. For another, some who may not know how to break the seal correctly would visually leave an unpleasent broken seal and/or leave a sticky residue on the tuck case; this solution of putting the seal on the side resolves that. 

  2) Putting the seal on the side of the tuck case also distinguishes the GILDED DECKS from the non-gilded decks, respectively. Which also makes the GILDED DECKS a little bit more special 😎

A Win-Win Situation in our book 👍

As always, we will inform you with any updates as they arise. I would assume our next update would be roughly 5-6 weeks when production is completed and shipment to Gamblers Warehouse for gilding and fullfilment begins.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

Contract with USPCC sent and they have the green light to start production 👍 ! This process takes the most longest (10-14 weeks). A great time to sharpen your skills in poker and/or learn a new hobby 😎; next thing you know, your card decks will be at your doorsteps. 

Will reach out again if we recieve any updates from USPCC. In the meantime, enjoy the weather, take care of yourself and each other, and do not forget to walk the dog.
